12 Days of Each Other Care
This Christmas, we took a familiar idea and shaped it around the people who matter most. Inspired by The 12 Days of Christmas, we created an idea of the 12 Days of Each Other Care, an initiative built around twelve original poems, one for each of our homes. Each poem was written to reflect daily life: the routines, relationships, humour and moments that make each home unique.
These poems formed the heart of our Christmas cards, shared with residents, loved ones and healthcare professionals during the festive season. In doing so, everyone received a personalised card where they could relate and reflect. People smiled, laughed and connected to the words.
This was about finding inclusive, natural ways to tell stories, and what a wonderful way for us to ensure everyone who lives with us, works with us, and has the pleasure to be part of Each Other Care to feel seen through lived moments and shared experiences.
Projects like this set a new standard of festive communication, creative, inclusive and intentional. They remind us of how life blossoms from being noticed and valued. It was a simple idea, fulfilled with meaning. One that brought people together, encouraged conversations and made this Christmas feel a little more personal. And that’s exactly what we hoped for.
Sometimes, all it takes is the right words to bring those moments together.
