Welcoming Loved Ones From Across The Globe

At Each Other Care, loved ones are as much a part of our community as our residents.  Tracey lives in Italy and recently visited her mum Kath at Highfield Hall. The team warmly welcomed her into the home and she saw just how the connections we build help our residents feel at home. Living far away, it was so important for Tracey to see Kath surrounded by familiar, caring faces.

Kath and Wellbeing Lead, Diane have a wonderful friendship and spending the day with them showed Tracey just how close they are. It was reassuring to see her mum supported by someone who truly understands her. For Kath, as someone with dementia, these bonds provide stability and familiarity.

Tracey joined the residents on an outing to The Whittaker Museum and she could see how comfortable and cared-for her mum felt among familiar faces.

“Thank you for allowing me to join you all, I thoroughly enjoyed the day out and got to spend some quality time with my mother and the other residents it was genuinely a great pleasure. I’m so looking forward to the next one.”

The authentic relationships at Highfield Hall are vital for the trust within our community. Families like Kath’s are reassured knowing their loved ones are surrounded by friends, where genuine connections offer comfort and a feeling of belonging.

A big thank you to Tracey for making our trip to The Whitaker Museum even more special. We’re so grateful to have you as part of our family, sharing meaningful moments with us.
