Ladyville Lodge Manager raises the roof for charity

Registered Manager Maxine Hall was part of a 500-strong choir who took part in a charity flash mob for Comic Relief last weekend.

The event marked the release of the choir’s latest charity single and Maxine found herself centre stage as part of the Buskerteers Choir during a Tina Turner flash mob at Lakeside Shopping Centre in Essex.

The Buskerteers Choir is led by Colchester resident Andrew Small. Andrew is known for his charismatic choirmaster skills and gathered hundreds of members for the show-stopping performance of Tina Turner's iconic hit, Proud Mary.

Founded in January 2020, Andrew and the the Buskerteers Choir embarked on a mission to raise £1 million for various charitable causes through busking and performances. The choir's latest charity single, featuring the 500-member flash mob, has already surpassed expectations, raising over £6000 for good causes.

Maxine tells us more:

“It was brilliant to be part of such a big event and raise so much money for Comic Relief. The atmosphere was electric, and everyone was dancing and singing. Andrew was dressed head to toe in gold and I don’t think shoppers could believe what was happening. I feel proud to be part of such an inspirational choir group and raise money for charity.”

We look forward to seeing where the choir turn up in the future.

Each Other Care proudly support team members in their efforts for charity and the performance shows Maxine’s unwavering commitment to community engagement and teamwork.
