Welcoming Our New Manager at Cumbernauld Care
Nicola brings with her over 20 years of experience in the care sector and a strong reputation for leading high-performing teams, developing services, and delivering quality person-centred care.
Nicola began her career in residential care at just 18 years old, quickly progressing into roles that involved supporting people with complex needs. Her passion for quality and compassion in care saw her take on increasingly senior positions, including Team Facilitator with Enable Scotland and Service Manager with Keane Premier Support Services.
Our team.
Most recently, Nicola led a care-at-home service in North Lanarkshire, where her leadership helped the team achieve the highest possible inspection grades. She was also instrumental in expanding the service from a small team of six to more than 40 team members, building a structure of deputy managers and team leads to provide stability, accountability, and consistent, high-quality care.
Nicola is solutions-driven and passionate about supporting people in line with our purpose of caring people in a way that contributes to a meaningful life. She believes in leading with positivity, keeping communication open, and building trusted relationships with residents, loved ones, and colleagues. She is also highly experienced with care compliance systems, ensuring that quality and safety remain at the centre of everything she does.
Speaking about her new role, Nicola tells us:
“I am delighted to be joining Cumbernauld Care Home as an integral part of the team here. I’m really looking forward to getting to know the residents, their families, and the team. My priority is to build on the great work already being delivered, ensuring our care remains focused on the wellbeing of everyone in our shared home community.”
