A New Era for White Ash Brook
Each Other Care is commemorating the transformation of care at White Ash Brook Care Home in Oswaldtwistle, four years after being acquired from a previous provider.
The 53-bedroom care home on Thwaites Road is under new Management and has been completely reimagined since the takeover, offering values-driven person-centred residential, specialist dementia and respite care.
Each Other Care is a family-owned care home group, founded on the principles of excellence, compassion and community engagement. The company’s commitment to delivering high-quality care is evident through CQC ratings, industry recognition, 5* food hygiene ratings and positive family feedback. Leaders have been working closely with industry partners, the Council and the CQC to exceed current standards, offering truly personalised care where residents lead full and meaningful lives in the comfort and safety of a shared home.
The past four years have been a collaborative journey where residents and the new management shared insights and best practices to enhance the lives of those they care for. Each Other Care’s proven success in acquiring care homes in need of improvements aligns seamlessly with the vision to deliver a new standard of truly personalised care.
Care Director Joanne McHugh explains:
“We understood the challenges of the previous reputation when we took over and I was motivated to transform the provision. We knew this wasn’t something that could be changed overnight, but our highly experienced Management team have been working tirelessly behind the scenes to ensure resident well-being is the highest priority. Having achieved CQC Outstanding ratings in previous homes where I’ve been a nominated individual, I am excited about the opportunity we have to now achieve this in Oswaldtwistle.”
Team members are recruited based on their shared values and dedication to meaningful care. Every employee takes part in a Company Values workshop led by our Co-Owner within the first year of employment.
