Introducing Our Growing Together Campaign
This Mental Health Awareness Week, we’re proud to launch our Growing Together campaign.
Across Spring and Summer, we’ll be sharing stories from Each Other Care that reflect the learning, connection and progress we see every day across our homes. From residents discovering a new hobby, a team member discovering purpose in a new role or the happiness from a new friendship taking shape.
We’re celebrating what happens when we take the time to understand what matters to each person; helping our residents and team members, feel heard, valued and supported to live in a way that feels meaningful to them.
As part of this initiative, we’ll also be spending lots of time outdoors, planting all kinds of wonderful things and caring for them together, with all our homes taking part in a friendly competition to see who can grow the biggest courgette.
Research shows that being outdoors, growing something with care and spending time in nature can help improve mood, lower stress and improve cognitive function, particularly for those living with dementia.
We’d love you to follow along as we share stories of growth, in our homes, in our roles and out in the garden.
