Welcoming J’amie as Registered Manager at The Abbeys

We’re delighted to announce that J’amie Morgan is now the Registered Manager at The Abbeys following a successful assessment and interview with the Care Quality Commission (CQC).

This marks a significant milestone for The Abbeys, reflecting J’amie’s dedication to the care sector over the past 15 years. Having transitioned from the position of Deputy Manager to Manager in 2023, she has been working closely with the regulator to achieve the registration.

J’amie is an integral part of the Senior Leadership team at Each Other Care and understands the importance of communication and authentic relationships in delivering quality care. Her vision for residents to lead fulfilling lives, supported by a vibrant activities programme and a nurturing environment is clear to see.

J’amie tells us:

After nearly two years at The Abbeys, I’m delighted to officially have my name above the door. It’s been a very special day for me to see residents, loved ones and team members congratulate me on the registration. As my first Registered Manager position, this honour holds a special place in my heart.

She continues:

Our home is a special place to live and work and I’m working tirelessly to maintain and support our wonderful shared community here. I’m already planning our summer fair with the team, and we’re continually freshening up our living spaces. We’re so proud to shine and our doors are always open to our community.
